Features and characteristics

High precision: usually adopts precision machining technology, high dimensional accuracy, such as inner diameter 42mm, outer diameter 82mm, height 36mm, can provide precise guidance for wheel hub rotation, and ensure the stability of wheel rotation.

Double row angular contact structure: adopts double row angular contact ball bearing structure, which can bear axial and radial loads at the same time, and can adapt to complex force conditions, such as various road forces and steering forces when the vehicle is driving.

High-quality materials: generally made of high carbon chromium bearing steel (such as GCr15), with high strength, high hardness and good wear resistance, can withstand large loads and maintain performance in long-term use.

Seal design: equipped with good sealing device, usually adopts composite sealing structure, such as high-quality nitrile rubber and SPCC skeleton, which can effectively prevent grease leakage and external dust, moisture and other impurities from entering, and extend the service life of the bearing.

Performance

Strong load capacity: With its structure and material characteristics, it can withstand large axial and radial loads, meeting the load-bearing requirements of the vehicle under different driving conditions, including the vehicle's own weight, the weight of passengers and cargo, and the dynamic load during driving.

Low friction torque: After optimized design, the friction torque of the bearing is small, which helps to reduce the vehicle's fuel consumption and improve energy efficiency. It can also reduce the heat generation of the bearing and extend its service life.

Good rotation accuracy: Ensure the stability and accuracy of the wheel at high speed rotation, make the vehicle drive more smoothly, reduce vibration and noise, and improve driving comfort.

High reliability: In harsh working environments, such as high temperature, humidity, dust and other conditions, it can still maintain stable performance, with high reliability and durability, reducing the probability of failure and maintenance frequency.

Application

Widely applicable models: Mainly used in the field of sedans, such as the front wheels of Citroen C2, British Seaview, Dongfeng Fengshen, Peugeot 307, Sega and other models.

Maintenance

Regular inspection

＊Rotation inspection: Build up the axle, turn the wheel by hand, and check whether the rotation is smooth and whether there is any abnormal noise. If the rotation is not stable and there is a friction sound, there may be a problem with the brake part; if the rotation is not stable and sometimes tight and sometimes loose, it means that there is a problem with the bearing part.

＊Swing check: For small cars, hold the upper and lower sides of the tire with both hands, and turn the tire back and forth to check whether there is looseness and blocking. If there is a clear sense of looseness, the wheel hub needs to be disassembled and inspected.

＊Appearance inspection: Check whether there is oil stain on the inside of the tire. If there is, it may be oil leakage from the brake cylinder or brake oil pipe, or it may be a poor seal of the wheel hub bearing. The cause needs to be found out and eliminated in time.

Correct maintenance

＊Disassembly preparation: Take safety measures, stop the vehicle and set up the axle. Remove the decorative cover, dust cover, tire nut and tire of the wheel hub axle head. If it is a disc brake, the brake also needs to be removed.

＊Parts cleaning: Use special tools to remove the wheel hub, scrape off the old grease in the bearing, journal and wheel hub cavity, clean it with a cleaning agent and wipe it dry.

＊Check the parts: Check the bearing and the bearing race. If there are cracks, fatigue peeling, loose bearing rollers or pitting on the race, the bearing should be replaced; check the fit between the inner diameter of the bearing and the journal. If the fit clearance exceeds the specified limit, the bearing should also be replaced.

＊Apply grease: Apply grease to the inner bearing and put it into the wheel hub. Apply grease to the inner cavity of the bearing until it emerges on the other side; apply a thin layer of grease to the wheel hub cavity and the shaft head cover for rust prevention, but be careful not to apply too much grease to avoid affecting heat dissipation and braking.

＊Install and reset: Install the wheel hub and outer bearing back to the journal, tighten the adjustment nut according to the specified torque, and install the lock plate, fixing nut, tire, dust cover, decorative cover and other parts.
